Regional Business Development Manager – Gas Home Standby Generators
PR Australia (Pramac) is a leader in power generation and material handling systems with a long history of providing premium products. We manufacture the widest range of power products in the marketplace including portable, residential, commercial and industrial generators.
We have built a niche market with our class leading Residential Gas Home Standby Generator with installations in homes around the world. With power outages affecting homeowners more frequently than ever, our goal is to provide homeowners with the security and assurance that their home never be without power.


Directly reporting to the subsidiary GM, the Gas Business Development Manager will be responsible for taking charge of nearly all aspects of the residential gas business including business development, dealer management, basic product training and support and basically be the local guru for all things Gas Home Standby for our commercial branch in Sydney, Australia.
Tasks
Qualify and develop new dealers and distributors to sell our premium gas product
Recommend and execute promotional activities including product launches, marketing campaigns and trade shows


Monitor relevant standards and other industry developments to ensure our product continues to meet customer and regulatory requirements
Develop a strong network of installers and subcontractors across the region
Liaise with internal and overseas counterparts to ensure customers (dealer/end-user) receive the highest level of support and product satisfaction
Provide market, product and forecasting reports to management and other parts of the organisation
Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends through your network of customers, attendance at industry association meetings, seminars, trade functions etc.


Seek and promote other company product offerings sales opportunities including portable generators and handling systems
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of sales management leadership experience and/or experience managing a large territory
Experience in various market segments including power tools, DIY equipment, retail, hardware, wholesalers
Experience in the electrical or power generation industry would be advantageous but not necessary
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
